Volunteer for the Juneau County Medical Reserve Corps Today!

What is the Medical Reserve Corps?
MRC units organize and utilize medical and public health professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, veterinarians, and epidemiologists. Many community members—interpreters, chaplains, office workers, legal advisors, and others—can fill key support positions.

Do I need to be a medical professional to volunteer?
No! There is always something for everyone to do depending on their background, interests, and skills.

Why should I volunteer?
  • Your community will benefit by having MRC volunteers ready to respond to emergencies at a moment's notice.
  • You can be part of an organized and trained team with a strong sense of mission and purpose.
  • It is a great way to give back to your community and neighbors during times of need.

What types of disasters does MRC respond to?
MRC responds to disasters like wildfires, floods, blizzards, and other weather and public health-related emergencies.
